Pay Per Click is a common term for the process of generating income from contextual advertising such as Google Adsense.  

It is a very simple process.  You build (or already have) a website around a particular theme (or niche).  You then apply for an account with Google for their Adsense program.  Once approved you are given a piece of code to add to your website pages.  Google will now deliver ads that are relevant to your niche.  

Whenever one of your visitors clicks on any of the ads displayed by Google Adsense you get paid!.  As simple as that.  It is one of the simplest and quickest way to start generating an online income.  If executed correctly this has the potential to supply you with a lifetime income.  The most important element in this particular process (as in most things online) is targeted traffic.  

It is critical that the traffic generated for your niche website is targeted as sending untargeted traffic (whilst making the hit stats look good) will adversely affect your CTR (Click Through Ratio) which in turn will damage your earnings potential.  Do not worry about all of this right now as there is and will be plenty of information and resources made available to help you with doing this properly.  

We will be looking at setting up a portfolio of sites that will eventually work on autopilot to generate a regular income for us.  The thing to remember is that we should aim to build a site around a niche, promote it in the many ways that I will detail and ensure that it will continue to get traffic for years to come.  The methods we use will ensure that possibility becomes a reality. 

Once we have our first niche site up and running getting regular, free targeted traffic and generating a reasonable level of income (around $10-$20 per day) then we start a second site and then a third and so on. The aim will be to have a portfolio of around 10 sites all generating about $300-$600 per month each.  This will give a substantial income of around $3000-$6000 in total.  This is definitely possible.
